NEW YORK GOLF WALK AND TALK FIELD EVENT

Golf in New York State is a $12.9B economic engine, providing more than 89,000 jobs, and preserving 103,000 acres of greenspace. On July 23, 2026, New York legislators, local civic leaders, superintendents, researchers, and industry leaders will convene for an experiential day highlighting the role golf plays in strengthening the economy, advancing environmental stewardship, and supporting communities across the state.

This interactive field tour will demonstrate ways that New York golf courses conserve water, support wildlife habitat, provide green infrastructure, create jobs and pathways for workforce development, provide access to the game, support the local supply chain, and serve communities across the state.
