More than 75 attendees including legislators, government officials, golf industry leaders, superintendents, PGA professionals, workforce participants, suppliers, and community partners gathered at Mohawk Golf Club for an interactive field experience demonstrating golf’s economic, environmental, and community impact. The July 23 event hosted by the Empire State Golf Alliance welcomed 20 representatives from legislative offices, with featured speakers including Sen. James Tedisco, Sen. Monica Martinez, Assemblymember Amanda Septimo, and Town Supervisor Erin Cassady-Dorion. The guided course tour included 15 interactive stations focused on science-based Best Management Practices (BMPs), conservation, workforce development, and community engagement.
