The New York Golf Economic Impact Report shows the industry generated a total of $12.9 billion (direct, indirect, and induced) to the wider New York economy, with more than 89,044 jobs supported by the golf industry, $3.8 billion in wages and benefits, and more than $1.0 billion in state and local taxes.

New York golf courses provide nearly 103,000 acres of greenspace that support wildlife, water quality, and climate resilience.

The New York Golf Environmental Impact Report shows the state’s 833 courses deliver ecological benefits including air quality improvement, water filtration, flood mitigation, and urban cooling.
